As a leader, you have an opportunity, in fact a responsibility, to develop the skills of others.
Here are three things you can focus on in order to develop great people.
1: Consider Them Individually
2: Bring Out The Best In Them
3: Nurture Their Growth
Praise can be either empowering or destructive depending on how it is given (or even not given).
Lack of praise leaves people feeling unappreciated and over-praise encourages people to believe that they are better than they are.
Praise is an important aspect of leadership and the following four considerations will help you to give meaningful praise:
1: Praise approximately right behaviour
2: Be specific
3: Make it about them, not you
4: Be honest
Leadership is all about influencing others and you achieve this through the way in which you interact with others.
Leadership is not just a privilege reserved for those at the top. In fact, everyone is in a position to positively influence those around them by managing from the middle.

Leadership credibility is how dependable, trustworthy and capable others consider you to be as their leader ... the level of confidence they have in you to lead them well and to lead them with integrity.
Leadership credibility is not acquired through your job title or position – it must be earned.
To improve your leadership credibility you can focus on four key areas:
1: Conduct
2: Values
3: Skills
4: Self Awareness
1: Begin on a positive note
2: Address the poor conduct, not the person
3: Explain the negative effect caused by their poor conduct
4: Provide a solution
5: Don’t delay
1: Control your ego
2: Learn to listen
3: Hold yourself accountable
4: Get to know your people well
5: Put their needs first
